RAISING BUTTERFLIES

A GUIDE TO RAISING BUTTERFLIES

Caterpillars are pretty easy to care for. They will require plants as their nutrition. Some caterpillars eat much more than others. Look for host and nectar plants native to your area. Raising monarchs will require A LOT of milkweeds, and raising Gulf fritillary, Julia, and Zebra will require a good amount of corky/passion vine. Most other caterpillars don't eat as much as the hungry caterpillars mentioned above.  Learn about ways to keep your garden organic and pesticide free. Click below to get your garden started.
